The combination of opulent sets, splendid costumes and Andrew Lloyd Webber's spine-tingling theatrical score creates an experience not to be missed as the love story is brought to life each night.. After 25 years and over 10,000 performances on London's West End The Phantom of the Opera is a worldwide musical phenomenon.
Phantom of the Opera opened at Her Majesty’s Theatre on 9 October 1986 with Michael Crawford and Sarah Brightman in the starring roles, and has become a record breaking worldwide sensation reaching audiences in nearly 100 cities and attracting over 50 major theatre awards in the process.

“@Earth_Pics: Drunken girls trying to pose for a picture. http://t.co/6vC1JZA0na” Hey @smellmo11 look, it's you with Netty & Fletty!
"My wife and I have now seen Phantom twice in London and once on Broadway and it has to be one of the best West End shows going, proven by how long it's been running for! Right from the start the music blows you away with the incredible chandelier scene and right through both acts it continues until the finale.
Last saw it quite a few months back now so the cast may have changed but when we saw it we thought they were all pretty much spot on, particularly Raoul who had a brilliant voice.
The broadway version was good as well but if I'm honest it didn't compare to the London version, their Phantom had a rather obvious American accent which unlike the other cast members he didn't seem to hide very well and it just seem to detract from the authenticity of the show, but still well worth seeing!
If you've not been to the West End before, make sure this is top of your list and it won't be the last time!"
