Lion King Extends it's Run

The continued success of The Lion King at the Lyceum Theatre has led to the show's West End run being extended by another three months.  According to London Theatre, more than nine million people have now seen the production, which is based on the Disney film of the same name.

The Lion King, which recently celebrated its 11th anniversary, features songs by Elton John, Tim Rice and Hans Zimmer.  The act staged at London's Lyceum Theatre is one of 17 different versions of the Disney story taking place around the world.
